Joe's Crab Shack

I had an excellent dining experience today at Joe’s Crab Shack – Seawall. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was fantastic. The Oysters Rockefeller were rich, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious, and my salad with blackened chicken was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, making it the perfect spot on the Seawall. A special shout-out to Sasha, the friendly photographer who stopped by and took our picture—she added such a warm, personal touch. The manager, Justin, was welcoming and attentive, making sure our experience was top-notch from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a great overall experience. Highly recommend—and I’ll definitely be back!

Came in for dinner the night before a cruise. Rae’chel was our waitress, she’s super sweet and our crab boil was really good. Will definitely be back.

Oh my goodness talk about the perfect ending to a beautiful weekend. Abel greeted my husband and I like we were long lost friends, then proceeded to seat us in the most romantic spot. Our server Gustavo was attentive, patient and very helpful regarding a special order. The atmosphere perfect. I strongly suggest your next meal at this incredible establishment!

My children and I got our food to go. We ordered the seafood boil with "The captain's secret Sauce" and mild for the heat. The flavor was great! A blend of lemon pepper and Cajun with garlic and spices. The shaker margerita was good. Kept the shaker cup as a souvenir. We got an extra pound of shrimp. And fried calamari as well. Staff had pleasant demeanor, some had smiling faces. Overall we had a good experience. We took nourish food to the beach, ate and enjoyed it.

This wasn’t my first time in Galveston, but it was my first time eating at Joe’s Crab Shack—and it was fantastic! The staff was extremely kind and had our food out to us in no time. The environment was lively without being too loud, very inviting and comfortable. I ordered the Shrimp & Seafood Ensemble, and it was cooked perfectly—just what I needed after a long day in the sun. My family and I had such a great experience, and we will 100% be coming back. Big thanks to the team for making our visit so enjoyable!

Oscar was our server and he was truly top notch! We come out to this location every time we are in Galveston and usually have the server Eddie who is also amazing but he is now the manager. Oscar was just amazing and made the experience that much better! The food was amazing as always with no complaints there. The playground was fun for our daughter and the water rinse off was super convenient! We will definitely be back and be requesting Oscar every time!
